Prefeitura lança edital com 17,5 mil vagas para o Bolsa Universidade 2020
Inscrições serão feitas pela internet, com início no dia 14 de novembro, às 10h, e segue até 1º de dezembro
Mais de 17 mil jovens e adultos poderão ingressar no ensino superior, em 2020, por meio do programa “Bolsa Universidade”. O edital do processo seletivo para ingresso no programa foi lançado na tarde desta quarta-feira (6) na sede da prefeitura. Nessa edição serão oferecidas bolsas integrais, de 100%, e parciais, de 50% ou 75%, em cursos de graduação para estudantes de baixa renda.
Via internet, as inscrições se iniciam às 10h do próximo dia 14/11, seguindo até as 23h59 do próximo dia 1º de dezembro, pelo endereço http://bolsa.manaus.am.gov.br. O edital completo será publicado no Diário Oficial do Município (DOM) e também ficará disponível no portal da prefeitura.
Para concorrer a uma das 17,5 mil vagas do processo seletivo, o candidato deve ser brasileiro, nato ou naturalizado, residir em Manaus com moradia devidamente comprovada, possuir renda familiar per capita – a renda total da casa dividida pela quantidade de moradores – não excedente a um salário mínimo e meio, além de estar regularmente matriculado ou apto a se matricular em uma das Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) parceiras do programa.
O candidato também deve ter ensino médio completo ou equivalente (ou concluir até o dia 31/12/2019) e não possuir diploma de curso superior ou estar matriculado em IES pública. Além disso, não podem participar beneficiários de programa de graduação mantido pelo poder público ou pela iniciativa privada.
Nesta edição, 15 instituições de ensino privadas se credenciaram para a oferta de bolsas: Centro Universitário de Ensino Superior do Amazonas (Ciesa), Centro Universitário Fametro, Centro Universitário Luterano de Manaus (Ulbra), Centro Universitário Maurício de Nassau (Uninassau), Escola Superior Batista do Amazonas (Esbam), Faculdade Boas Novas (FBN), Faculdade Martha Falcão Wyden, Faculdade Salesiana Dom Bosco, Faculdade Santa Teresa, Fucapi, Instituto Amazônia de Ensino Superior (IAES), Materdei, Uninorte Laureate, Universidade Estácio de Sá e Universidade Nilton Lins.
“É um programa inovador. Comentamos com os nossos colegas de outros Estados e todos se interessaram em conhecer o programa. Palmas (TO) já está estudando a possibilidade de implantá-lo. Por isso minha alegria de estar aqui neste momento”, disse o reitor da Ulbra, Waldemar Schelender, um dos parceiros do programa.
O processo seletivo se dará em três etapas: as inscrições eletrônicas, a classificação, realizada pelo sistema com cruzamento de dados, e a entrega de documentação, em que o candidato classificado deverá comprovar as informações declaradas na inscrição on-line, para garantir a bolsa.
Programa
O Bolsa Universidade é coordenado pela Secretaria Municipal de Administração, Planejamento e Gestão (Semad), por meio da Escola de Serviço Público Municipal e Inclusão Socioeducacional (Espi). Com dez anos de criação, consolidando-se como uma importante política pública de combate à desigualdade social, foram mais de 500 mil inscritos e mais de 90 mil benefícios concedidos.
A maioria dos beneficiários tem idade entre 26 e 60 anos, o que representa 72,36%, seguido dos 27,03% que representam a faixa etária entre 17 e 25 anos. Os demais beneficiários, 0,34%, têm idade entre 61 e 80 anos. A parcela maior de bolsistas vive nas zonas Leste e Norte do município.
